My name is Krysta Wishlow and I am in my 4th year of Elementary Education at the University of Regina. At a young age, I would make my little cousin do homework and teach him new skills by playing ‘school’ everyday after school. Once I was in high school, I decided to help out at the Canora Nursery School. The teacher was actually my teacher too! I began to realize I wanted to become a teacher. I got accepted into Eduacation and that is where I am now! I’m in my last semester now and I have finished my pre-internship and my internship. Both were a different experience. I was in grade 4 and 5. In the future I hope to teach grade 3 0r 4 and maybe even in middle years. Since I have moved to Regina I have also had the chance to work with children in a day care atmosphere. As of right now, I am trying to bring back my love of technology and remember how to do all these cool things with computers. I am hoping ECMP 455 will help prepare me for my own classroom and creating an education network to share ideas. What I learn now will hopefully be used in my teaching as I go on in the future.
